Sunday Worship Updates

Sunday Worship Updates
We are not coming back to church- we ARE the church! We are coming to our building to worship in-person together. We are thankful for God’s goodness, guidance, and sovereignty over all things during this season of change.

In-person services resumed on May 31 with our regular worship times of 8:45 am & 10:30 am.

Please be reminded that our number one goal in gathering back together is to worship our Creator and be taught the truth of his Word! It is important to us that we do this in a way that protects the health of our body of believers and our community. So we are seeking to balance all of these things while making the return to face-to-face worship as normal as possible.

What to expect

  • We will have greeters at the doors, welcome center, and throughout the lobby to greet you with a warm smile and a hello. Just keep in mind that we will be refraining from any hugs or handshakes for the near future.
  • We will refrain from offering a treat table and coffee until we feel it is okay to do so.
  • Once in the worship center, you will notice that we have positioned our rows of chairs differently to allow for the necessary space for social distancing. Please do your best to honor the 6-foot rule of social distancing while in the worship center.
  • We will no longer pass an offering bucket as we have in the past. Instead, you will find 3 black boxes fastened along the back wall of the worship center.
  • It will be important to remember that once each service is concluded there is not much time, unfortunately, for a lot of connection. We need to do our best to maintain social distancing while we connect. So make plans to leave shortly after the service is completed. For now, we will need to limit the amount of time we mingle.
  • Nursery and LTCC resume on July 5. The nursery will operate as before but with additional cleaning measures in place. LTCC will check-in as normal but children will be dismissed from the worship center after music and then picked up from the worship center as well.

Online options

We understand that for many others you may not be comfortable gathering in large groups yet, or you may be more susceptible to the virus or are currently experiencing any of the virus symptoms. If you are in one of these categories, we encourage you to continue to worship with us at home. We will live stream the 10:30 service.
